Research methodology Course on CSDP – EU as a Security and Defence Actor
Prof. Christos Xenakis, the coordinator of the SealedGRID project, attended the Research methodology Course on CSDP – EU as a Security and Defence Actor and was part of the panel regarding Cyber Security. The course was successfully held in Piraeus between 14 and 16 March 2022 with active participants and excellent results. The aim of the course was to raise awareness of the importance of security in various aspects including but not limited to cyber, geographical, and economical among the EU. In particular, Prof. Xenakis presented, in brief, the ultimate goals of the SealedGRID project and its technological outcomes. Moreover, he emphasized in the ways that the EU can utilize the SealedGRID outcomes strengthening its power to defend against future cybersecurity attacks.
Apart from Prof. Xenakis, the former secondees Aristeidis Farao and Vaios Bolgouras participated having discussions with other researchers related to the SealedGRID prospects, challenges, and future directions.
