SealedGRD on JAUNTY Multiplier Workshop
Professor Christos Xenakis from the Department of Digital Systems of Piraeus University was invited on 1 December of 2021, to present at JAUNTY Multiplier Event – Transnational Workshop on SEMS and Smart Grids the SealedGRID Project!
The chair moderator Sofia Giannakidou asked at the “3rd Roundtable Session: Skills and Trends for Smart Energy Management Systems” the guest speakers the following questions:
• What are the required skills that need to be developed in smart-grid and in smart energy management domain and how they are related to training and educational programs?
• What are the forecasts about the transformation of the market around the development of smart energy systems?
Professor Christos Xenakis answered based on the innovative technology where uses the SealedGRID and introduced the project platform as well as the applications of this state-of-the-art technology in the future.
The event which was held virtually went beyond the specific academic and technical skills in the energy domain and is seeking Smart Grid initiatives in order to improve operations, maintenance, and planning in the Electric Grid by enabling the seamless exchange of data.
The transnational event aims to bring together academics, professionals, and stakeholders in the ICT and ECE fields to present the current findings and progress of synthesizing and analyzing the best practices on SEMS training.
